Isolated Launching PLR
The Isolated Launching PLR is isolated by a piggable valve and is positioned just off the end of transfer line.  It provides a home base for the pig and prevents exposure to the product during the transfer process.

 
 
Integrated Tee PLR
The Integrated Tee Launching PLR combines the Launching PLR with a Piggable Tee.  The pig residing in the PLR is prevented from being drawn into the product flow by a Pig Stop.   When the product transfer is complete and pigging is to commence, the Pig Stop is released.  

 
 
Receiving PLR
The Receiving PLR is designed to stop the pig in the transfer line just ahead of the product discharge point and return the pig to the launching PLR while allowing the pig wiper discs to relax and reorient in the new return direction of travel.
 
 
 
Piggable Tee
The Piggable Tee provides supply and discharge points in the pigged transfer line.  It is designed to assure smooth passage of the pig through the tee without hang-up in the tee branch and to minimize residual product trapped in the tee branch dead leg.  
 
 
Piggable Isolation Valves
Piggable Isolation Valves are used at any point along a pigged transfer line where pigging components in the main line must be temporarily isolated.  Piggable valves are frequently used to isolate the Launching PLR from the transfer line and for isolating product discharge points along a single common pigged transfer line.
 
 
 
Demisters
Demisters are used to separate air from liquid mist as pigs are turned to their home base launching PLR.  Demisters are recommended where alternate methods of receiving the pig return air are not readily available.
Pigging system operation requires periodic conformation that pigs have reached their target destination.  Confirmation can be provided by the use of Manual Pig Detectors or Magnetic Pig Sensors.
 
 
 
Piggable Manifolds & Diverter Valves
In many product transfer applications, the pipeline system must handle product movement from multiple sources to multiple destinations.  Piggable Manifolds and 3‑Way Diverter Valves are used to handle this application need.
 
Control Systems
Pigging control systems can either be stand-alone and PLC operated or integrated into a larger plant wide control system.  PLC stand alone systems can be provided by Pigging Solutions.  For plant wide control systems, Pigging Solutions will provide the pigging system automation sequence for integration into the plant wide system.
 
 

 
Pig Detectors & Sensors
Pigging system operation requires periodic conformation that pigs have reached their target destination.  Confirmation can be provided by the use of Manual Pig Detectors or Magnetic Pig Sensors.
 
 
Process Pigs
Process Pigs are flexible cylinders with wiping discs that are tightly compressed against the inside wall of the transfer line to both displace the product in the line and clean the pipe walls.
 
 
 
Line Cleaning Products
Cleaning pigs are used to scrape the pipe walls, remove debris, and swab the piggable line into dust bags prior to placing the line into service.  Cleaning pigs range in type from soft foam swabs to dense urethane coated bullets with stiff wire scrubbing brushes.  Cleaning pigs are designed to negotiate through restrictions and tight elbows and are used to clean both piggable and standard transfer piping.
